Wednesday Summer Walks...


Throughout the summer months, April - September, we run local walks on Wednesday Evenings. These usually start and finish at a pub for a pint afterwards. The walks range from 4 - 7 miles and are led by Tom Ainsworth and other walk leaders.

The start time for all walks is 7.15pm

Please note that these walks will be over rough terrain and the onus is on the individual to take care when on these walks. Burnley and Mountaineering and fellwalking club cannot be held responsible for any injuries sustained by not following the rules. Please close all gates and observe the county code.

Dogs on leads are welcome on these walks, if accompanied by a well behaved and responsible owner.

No booking is necessary, just turn up and walk

A charge of £5 per year is made to non-members of the club to become "Wednesday Walkers". This is to cover insurance costs and covers all Wednesday walks in that calendar year and there are no further charges
