Coniston is the home of the Old Man, Bluebird, and scene of the infamous (in the club at least) Tilberthwaite Mining Disaster. Our route today takes us by Skelwith Bridge and the end of the Langdale valley, allowing the approach to Coniston over a variety of high and low-level routes. 5pm Return.

About the event
Super-sundays are back! We're going all-in and running 4 big-days-out this year to the Lake District, one per season, and all will run regardless of how many people book on! So come along and see what was once the backbone of the club (we used to fill three coaches every month!) and why our members loved these events so much. Sure it's a long day but would you rather go back to work on Monday having done some weeding and washed the car, or scaled a fell or two, got lost and soaked, and had chips and a pint by a roaring fire in a cosy pub?
